Black and Green I am

Advocacy is at the heart of what we do. We advocate for healthier individuals, healthier communities, and better support for the people who make those both possible: Community Health Workers (CHWs). CHWs provide invaluable resources to their communities. They are linkages, health promoters, wellness liaisons, and so much more. But many people don’t know what roles these frontline health workers play. This campaign aims to educate community members while providing a platform for CHWs to share their experiences, passions, and resources.

How the Campaign Works

To reach the largest audience we can, our campaign takes place on social media.

  1. Download and read through the campaign toolkit.
  2. Use the toolkit guidelines to create your own graphic or use one of the provided Canva templates below to create your graphic.
  3. Upload your graphic to Facebook, Instagram, and/or LinkedIn with the following hashtags: #iamachw #everydaychw #rchwn #everydaylife
  4. Tell your friends, colleagues, and connections about the campaign!

Get Your Template

Select the template below that you like best. If you already have a Canva account, you’ll be prompted to sign in to get started. If you don’t have a Canva account, you’ll use your email and name to create a free one. Once you’ve done that, you’ll have access to edit the following templates.

Please note: Limit how much of your story you share in the graphic! We ask you to keep it under 160 words so that your graphic will be clean and easy to read. You can use the text space on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to share additional details.
If you aren’t a CHW but your organization supports CHWs, or if you’re a CHW ally yourself, use the templates below.
