Community Health Workers (CHWs) are on the frontlines of our communities, helping individuals, families, and groups navigate complexity, overcome barriers, and connect to necessary health and social service resources. The Rural Community Health Worker Network (RCHWN) was founded in 2018. CHWs are at the core of this effort, we advocate for, connect, and support CHWs in all sectors, fields, and stages of their careers. We do this in several ways, from direct outreach in our communities to national advocacy campaigns.
